I had the same question. I think it is because creative people have a hard time sitting down and doing the administrative work that it takes to run a business. I struggled with that when I owned a bar. I was more interested in how things looked and the events we were throwing. But because I knew how important it was to stay focused I forced myself to do all my bookkeeping and planning two days a week.
