Musical Mood Of The Day: Yes
Hello, Steem users! For today's musical mood of the day I will be briefly discussing progressive rock band Yes. Yes is one of the earliest progressive rock bands. They started out during the late 1960s in London and throughout the upcoming decades they have distinguished themselves as one of the finest art rock/progressive rock bands of all time, influencing other popular acts that would later on emerge in the genre (such as Rush).
The band has released an impressive number of 21 studio albums and 18 live albums. To this day, Yes still performs live and tours occasionally but without frontman Jon Anderson who had previously left the band. In 2017, Yes had been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rush's Geddy Lee held the induction speech.
