EP Review: monoPunk - Kontakt

I write a lot about music and it is one of my biggest motivations in life... I really can't do without music just a single day... I though it would be fun to try out reviewing music, just to give my personal opinion about a album or artist...
So I thought I would start with a EP of one of my closest friends Danny Samar and his band monoPunk.
monoPunk is a musical trio strong as rhythm section and producers for different artists. They accompany many German artists.
monoPunk are:

Tobias Held - Drums
Danny Samar - Bass
My opinion about the EP "Kontakt"
This EP represents the class of the musicians as a band but there is absolute room to filter the individual talent of these guys. They are all virtuose at their instrument. The EP gives a mix of experimental sounds ( song "weakend") till more R&B / sample sensed songs but on another level...
I do think it's something you have to like in the sense of style, not everybody will admire it cause there is so much detail in the music. But for me it's a no-brainer... This is a awesome EP delivered by these guys.
My favorite songs are :
1. Here I go - Listen to these great basslines. And this song has a really hit-potention...
2. Road Movie - This song has such a incredible ambiance. The vocals with the vocal effect are awesome... And again (I am prejudiced of course ;) ) the basslines are great..

I was thinking of doing some artist reviews, or maybe just album ones. Reviewing an artists would take considerable effort and you would need to know their full discography.
Depends on how you want to review the artist I suppose.. Just telling your opinion about the artist from own experience or indeed the whole career... I was thinking the other day, every day I drive at home from work is a great time to listen en discover some new albums... :)
You could only review from your point of view, car listening is good if you can find anything worth listening too that is.
yes you're right. But I ment if like I only got to know someone from the last album, I wont talk about the albums before that :) ... I often listen to the suggestions spotify makes for the music I listen. Often new bands (for me) which are great..
