Rock Classic Nummer 20 mit Fleetwood Mac
Die Band ist tatsächlich älter als ich! Glück gehabt - waren nie meine Überband aber ich mochte manche Alben sehr gerne und sie haben viel geleistet für die Musik Branche. Heute geht es also um Fleetwood Mac in meiner 20. Ausgabe der Rock Classics - hoffe @rivalzzz - das ist nicht zuuu alter Kram für Dich. Warum ich die Band so mochte lag eventuell auch einer der Frontdamen, die ich sehr spannend fand, ne heisse rauchende Stimme dazu, daher gleich auch mal eines Ihrer Solo Werke die ich Granate fand damals in den 80ern, Stevie Nicks heisst die Lady.
Schauen wir mal was die Quelle aller Quellen sagt (paar Auszüge zumindest von Wikipedia):
Fleetwood Mac ist eine ursprünglich rein britische Bluesband, später britisch-US-amerikanische Rockband, die ab Mitte der 1970er Jahre weltweit erfolgreich war. Ihre Alben belegten viermal in Großbritannien und dreimal in den USA Platz eins der Charts und erreichten unter anderem in Deutschland sehr hohe Platzierungen bis hin zu Platz zwei. Das letzte Studioalbum wurde 2003 veröffentlicht.
Die Truppe ist immer noch aktiv und offiziell nicht aufgelöst - gegründet 1967 - heisst 50 Jahre auf dem Buckel! Respekt! Gegründet wurde die Band von Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood sowie Bob Brüning. Aber nun mal etwas für die Ohren. Stevie Nicks mit ihrem Solo Track Stand Back als Remix - ursprünglich veröffentlich 1983.

As promised - trying to make it real - here the next edition of my Rock Classics with a band founded back in 1967 originally in the UK as Blues Band. Not writing too much - they are still active playing gigs after 50 years of success. A huge asset for the music industry. I was not the no. 1 fan of the band and like some of their albums and especially Stevie Nicks who was one of the female lead vocalists (still is back now as far as I know) - hence above one of her solo songs from 1983 - love her voice!
Fleetwood Mac sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling bands. Since 1998 they are a part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Stevie Nicks ist nie ein alter Kram :)
Wärend eines Photoshootings ist dieses Bild auf dem Dach ihres Hauses i Venice Beach entstanden. Bei diesem Shooting war es durchaus etwas windig wie man auf dem Bild erkennen kann. Der Assistent von Stevie Nicks hat während des Shootings die Stevie an ihren Beinen festhalten müssen, dass sie nicht vom Dach geweht wird. Das Shooting war am späten nachmittag beim Sonnen Untergang. Ich finde das Bild richtig klasse!
During a photo shoot this picture was taken on the roof of her house in Venice Beach. At this shooting it was quite windy as you can see on the picture. Stevie Nicks' assistant had to hold Stevie by her legs during the shooting so that she would not be blown off the roof. The shooting was at sunset in the late afternoon. I think the picture is really great!

I like their music, but I LOVE Peter Green's original Fleetwood Mac much much more. My favourite band of all time. His guitar sings to my heart, and his words resonate with my soul!!! I was pretty excited to see the name Fleetwood Mac in your title anyway, and for that you get the upvote!

Wow, that name I didn't hear for a long time, I think I have their msic only on tape. This is a great trigger for me to listen to some of their stuff again, more often!

Fleetwood Mac are brilliant. Im more of their older music - the Peter Green era, but the newer stuff is still good! Would love to see them live one day!
