RE: Millionaire - Kelis ft Andre 3000 (covered by lucybanks)
wellll, nope. The music industry was owned by 57 companies before Bill, and after his presidency it is now owned by 7 companies. This means there are fewer opportunities and also less distribution of wealth in the industry (so no real budgets for making albums) therefore no one really gets signed anymore unless they're already famous
Sorry but where are you getting this from!?.. Are you making stuff up?
The music industry is owned by 3 players - Universal / Sony / Warner .. Rest are are so-called indies or digital distribution platforms such as itunes and stuff. Soooo weird of you to pull 1 single guy into this. As if Bill didn't had anything else to do but plan some weird take-over of the music industry.. wtf?
He signed the 1996 telecommunications act which allowed companies to own more than 40 radio stations. There are now companies that own many hundreds of radio stations. Therefore new artists have a hard time getting record deals and then getting onto the radio and therefore making any money.
