We are The Trouble Notes! An introduction

Hello Steem world!

We are a group of independent musicians who live on the tour road! Every year we travel 9-10 months, across different continents playing concerts, busking, and meeting new friends and interesting people. The core group is a trio, composed of violinist Bennet Cerven, guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and percussionist Oliver Maguire; and always with us is our Super manager and photography enthusiast Steffi!

Our music is described as ‘Indie-Gypsy fusion’, characterised by emotionally driven, instrumental ballads reflecting pan-cultural influences and blending an eclectic fusion of traditions, to create a truly unique sound; representative of our extensive travels and consequential musical development. We like to say that our ‘music is from everywhere and for everyone“.

This year we had some videos of us performing in different cities that went mega-Viral on Facebook, to the tune of 60million+ views... Because of these videos, we reached a lot of new people and our inboxes exploded with performance requests and calls for us to visit new places. It's exciting for us and sometimes still feels like a dream! We will be doing a LOT of traveling next year!

One of the great things about the way that we travel is our ability to see a city or culture from a different lens. For a time, we become a part of the creative fabric of a place, which grants us a unique vantage point. We would like to document that more frequently in the years to come. Our music does not have words, so many of our articles that we write here will provide more color and context to our travels.

Plus, we know so many other awesome musicians, artists and quirky travelers that we will profile them as well. Short interviews and an introduction into their work. Our mission is to help our fellow artists spread their vibes. We have always worked this way, helping musicians to grow with our network and consequentially growing our network with theirs.

We look forward to becoming more involved in the Steem community over the next year. We have a lot to share with you, and at first glance, it seems you have the same for us. For now, we just wish everyone a great final week of 2017 as we turn the page on our new chapters. Be well Steemers!
