Music - Wind down Sunday

It is that time of the weekend when your mind turns towards the coming week and your plans and commitments. It is also the time to relax and what better way to do it than with a beverage of your choice and some good music.

I just love this Night Fly album ... so very listenable. I am pretty sure that there will be another track further down. I spent some time last night ripping some of my CD's to put on my gym MP3 player ... and it came to my mind that I have very few classy female artists in my collection. So I dug out my favorite artist from the early 80's ....

What can I say abut Tracy Chapman ? She released 8 studio albums... and that excellent publication Wikipedia explains

She has 4 Platinum albums, 2 of which are multi-platinum, and 2 Gold albums. Her smash hits "Fast Car" and "Give Me One Reason" both hit the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, peaking at numbers 6 and 3, respectively. Both singles hit number 1 in Canada.

Last one for this evening as I need to refill my glass with some excellent Sauvignon Blanc fro the local Durbanville Hills winery ...

I have attempted to steer clear of all my usual artists and genres which I feature on a regular basis. I doubt that I have ever shared David Gray before ...so here goes ..enjoy !!
