A Little Happiness.
I've found that as I grow older, reflecting on the transition from childhood to adulthood carries more and more value. After all, who I am today, is the result of all that I was yesterday, the day before, and so forth till my memory of myself concedes to a blur of youth.
When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.

It is a special time in our lives to live carefree, to know no limits. But it is also a precious time to make mistakes and learn from them. Our capacities as human beings give us the cognitive ability to feel complex emotions and feelings such as love.
This song is about good fortune. The direct translation for the song title is Little Lucky. However, I think a more appropriate translation would be A Little Happiness. This song was sung by Hebe, a Taiwanese singer who was one of the vocalists from the girl group 'S.H.E'. Although the group is now disbanded, Hebe has gone onto have quite a successful solo career. The song was written specifically for the movie Our Times which is about the passage of childhood to adulthood and the hurdles met along the way.
The characters in the movie experience their first dose of love, and ironically discover that there are many dimensions and levels to love, always so difficult to quantify with any tangible measure. Two people, originally enemies eventually fall in love, and then dramatically are separated for 18 years only to be reunited again in the most unexpected way.
The movie can be very cliche, but delivered some waves of sentimentality that can only be received by means of catharsis.

I actually heard this song before I saw the movie and it at the time I thought it was just a pretty melody.
