VINYL SPOTLIGHT: Judas Priest - Ram It DownsteemCreated with Sketch.

Judas Priest - Ram It Down [1988] Some people consider this to be one of Priest’s weaker albums. Admittedly besides the title track and “Blood Red Skies” there isn’t much else that is memorable. However this is the first album in which Priest started to go in a much heavier direction, it’s essentially the build up album to “Painkiller” they hadn’t perfected their new sound on this album. The use of a drum machine instead of real studio drumming also gave the production a tacky outdated sound. Still love the artwork, may even be my favorite JP album cover.

" Raise the sights, the city lights are calling
We're hot tonight, the time is right, there's nitro in the air
In the street is where we'll meet, we're warning
On the beat, we won't retreat, beware
Thousands of cars and a million guitars
Screaming with power in the air
We've found the place where the decibels race
This army of rock will be there
To ram it down, ram it down
Straight through the heart of this town
Ram it down, ram it down
Razing the place to the ground
Ram it down "
