RE: Nightingale's Eyes Piano (Dragon Age Inquisition OST performance)

in #music6 years ago

My son plays piano too and he started that after he played Computer game "Super Mario" and it was background music, he loved it very much. Couple of months later we move to new house and it was piano in it, so he looked in Youtube how to play that music and learnt it himself, since then he developed quickly. But initial push was computer game background music. Really fascinating :)

It's amazing sometimes what drives us and pushes us forward to persevere through something more challenging. The will to be able to do something we love, even play a song we love, is a great motivation factor and can help us learn skills.

Video games help me with music too, though when I started learning it had been a song by a modern composer that inspired me, even if I never learnt that song. Video games helped my husband as a kid to learn English since French is his first language. A lot of people overlook video games as simple recreation, but they are so much more than that.
