I try to find the best new Psychedelic Music on the Internet & share it with you.
Today we have a truly vintage-retro-super-nova track by The Soundcarriers. This group has been around for 10 years now but with every album, they just keep getting better and better and better.
The Soundcarriers - Somewhere to Land
The drums instantly launch us into space. The percussion and bass join in with some heavy psychedelic keys and we're off!
Past the solar system and into the unknown, curiosity and wonder fuel this trip. Even the mechanical sounds of the ship are on beat.
Here. We. Go.
Sweet vocal harmonies captain the whole ordeal, narrating this exotic trip through the cosmos. How far can we go? Forever? Until we decide to land, maybe never. The harmonies here are beautiful.
Planets and stars blur through our windows. How fast are we moving? Not fast enough.
Let's go faster.
The rhythms and sci-fi sounds take a sharp turn into the chorus where the music hits a perfect harmonic and rhythmic peak. Repeating like fractal sound waves, the vocals flow into our ears. "Find Somewhere to Land" "Find Somewhere to Land" "Find Somewhere to Land".
Sweet sweet sound waves baby. Everything is on point.
It comes back down and rolls along while we fly past planets and stars never imagined before. Things we don't even have names for. The beautiful beautiful unknown. Shining a light on our own imaginations, the dream world is real.
Where are we now?
The vocals harmonies come back, like a captain reassuring that everything is ok. It seems like we are moving faster and faster but there is no stopping now. The only frontier left is ahead of us.
Let's hit ludicrous speed. Put your helmets on and get your oxygen ready and enjoy the ride. We've found what we've been searching for our whole lives. Meaning. Music is the Meaning of Life. Life is the Meaning of Music.
The unknown is no more, we're here. We're everywhere now.
Time. Is. No. More.
Then BOOM that beautiful chorus again "Find Somewhere to Land" "Find Somewhere to Land" "Find Somewhere to Land".
Planets whir by, every color imaginable, Dust Clouds and Star Births, Galaxies and Black Holes. Strange Attractors, Technicolor Pulsars, Giants and Multi Color Phenomena, Meteors, Asteroids, Gamma Rays and Everything. A Cosmic Disco and the disco ball is a Multi Dimensional Fractal Mirror.
Quasars signal to the rhythm of the beat and the harmonies lead us into an epic crescendo.
The hits explode like Supernovas and the Cosmic Sound Waves crash into our ears...
and just like that...
It's over.
