My second full length Bonnie Legion
album "Escapist"
was released earlier this year. The top track on the album so far has been Burning Trees, produced by Netherlands Producer Qrittix. Huge support has come from online and indie radio stations helping me reach the album out to more fans. This was an emotional track for me to record, very powerful energies stewing up from a broken heart explode in the final chorus. The beautiful soulful piano instrumental bleeds well to the feeling in the lyrics.
As with most of my songs, they are formed from my written poetry (I have so many notepads stacking up around the house you could build a tower to the sky). As soon as I hear an instrumental a poem will either come to mind that will suit it or I will write directly on the spot to the instrumental itself. Burning Trees is a mixture of both these methods.
