Sunless Rise считается питерской бандой, но вообще-то история группы началась в городе Тобольске, что в Тюменской области, а первое выступление состоялось в Твери. Однако не все сразу. Между созданием группы в 2006 году и дебютом на сцене прошло около двух лет, в течение которых участники не только сочиняли материал, но и упорно оттачивали технику владения инструментами. История знает массу примеров, когда парни с характером попроще, едва собравшись в банду, тут же начинали играть-пить-гулять, годами, а то и десятилетиями оставаясь на том же техническом уровне, что и в первый день. Sunless Rise - случай противоположный. Чтобы играть такую сложную, богатую музыку, им до сих пор приходится репетировать сутки напролет, но приз в виде признания в Европе того стоит, согласитесь.
