Sunless Rise is a Russian melodic/technical death metal band, founded in 2006, in the city of Tobolsk.

Несмотря на оригинальный и крайне интересный музыкальный материал, команда Sunless Rise в России почти не известна (возможно, не вопреки, а как раз благодаря сложной музыке эту группу игнорируют? не будем гадать). Так или иначе, основная масса слушателей Sunless Rise проживает в Европе, и это обстоятельство вряд ли огорчает музыкантов, ибо лучше колесить с туром по какой-нибудь Германии, чем по родной Мордовии. Хотя не только Европа ждет наших парней в гости. После того, как в 2015 году вышел альбом Unrevealed (о нем был прошлый пост), о группе заговорили с уважением и в США, и в Японии. Неудивительно, что тексты у Sunless Rise на английском языке, что лично я могу только приветствовать, независимо от географии выступлений группы. Впрочем, последнее время банда частенько выходит на сцену в ныне родном городе Петербурге - получается тоже неплохо, судите сами.
