"Echoes Of My Former Self " by Roger Weafer

This is a musical continuation of my exploration in open D tuning...but it's Acoustic chords layered with Drums, Electric guitars,and Flute. This is a somber but pretty melody that evolved over a full week of trial and error. For those of interest the chord progression is Dm,Dmaj7,Gm,goes to Amaj to Gmaj,Dmaj7...repeat adnauseum. Sometimes you just feel like a sad song during this period of 2020 with everyone "shut in" waiting for science to SAVE us.It seems appropriate that this "new normal" will leave us all as echoes of our former selves.
