Peruvian "Nightingale" Leo Rojas

I want to talk about a wonderful man, a musician from Peru, whose music worries me, and pleases, and surprises, and worries. This man Juan Leonardo Santilla Rojas, known as Leo Rojas, creates exciting compositions in which it is difficult to determine which melodies are borrowed from popular music, and which were born during his creative improvisation.

One of these songs called "Condor Flight" I propose to listen.
This music was written by the Peruvian composer Daniel Robles as far back as 1913 on the motif of the traditional folk melodies of the inhabitants of the Andes.

And in 2004 the composition "Flight of the Condor" was recognized as a national treasure and cultural heritage of Peru.

Leo Rojas is a skilled pan flutist - a musician who often performed just on the street, while one of his enthusiastic listeners did not invite him to go to the casting. So he became a participant of the 5th season of the German show "Das Supertalent", reached the semifinals, performing with the composition "El Condor Pasa" and won in 2011 with the song "Einsamer Hirte".

The main means of earning for him is playing the North American wind instruments. Leo himself loves music, giving interviews said:

I'm a big fan of Modern Talking. I started listening to their music ten or nine years ago. I knew Dieter, but I did not expect him to be German! I came to Europe and heard his music. Then I began to save money and bought a CD of Modern Talking.

Leo combines in his compositions a nice pop arrangement and mystical Indian tunes. Creating a musical ethnic outline, the musician refers a little to his country of origin, while playing and familiar melodies to Europeans.
