Thirsty Records is a Music curation service that supports Musicians through curation rewards and networking.

Musician Spotlight

Once a week Thirsty Records will choose their favourite Music on Steemit, from that week.

Once chosen Thirsty Records will contact the Author to ask permission to re-post their content.

Once we have permission from the Author we will then re-post their Music on our page to our followers.

All Steem Based Dollar rewarded from Musician Spotlight posts will be given to the Musician.

Next Sunday 2PM (-0:500 UTC)

We plan to release our first episode of Musician Spotlight next Sunday at 2 pm (New York time).

We will be choosing songs from both this coming week and from the past.

We have been diligently sifting through everyone’s work.

If this is successful we will try to do it more regularly so that we can feature more Musicians throughout the week.

Thirsty Records

We are a newly found Curation Service that rewards Musicians for their work.

We started this initiative less than a week ago and it's starting to grow nicely.

We currently have two mods that moderate this page and the thirsty records chat channels.

We also have a team of curators helping us vote on original music that we find on both the #music page and our very own #thirsty page.

We will be looking for more mods in the future, however our private keys will remain secret (this account is to forever remain powered up & we're not the trusting types).

A message from @senseiteekay (Thirsty Records Mod)

Hello everyone,

Thanks for keeping up with this initiative. So far we've had some great feedback from the community.

We've spent this week deciding exactly where we want to go with this.

We figure that we'll be spending most of our efforts on trying to grow the @thirstyrecords account in order to provide good curation rewards.

I have decided that I will be donating some of my own $BD to @thirstyrecords as I make it. It's my way of helping the account to accumulate more vests.

I am also trying to build my own account in the same manner. I have nearly $1600 Steem Power and intend to get a lot more.

This is a cumbersome task and may take some time but eventually I will be able to provide the same rewards for others that whales have been given to me.

Personally, I love music, and so it would be a dream to be able to spend my days curating music for a living. That drives both my colleague and I to see this through.

So, please support the initiative. Keep helping us grow. In the future Steemit will be used as music hosting platform a long its millions of other uses.
