No.10: Wilderness - End of week 1 recording
Hello Steemians,
That brings me to the end of week 1 in my recording schedule for my debut album Wilderness.
The record has ten tracks and this week I made headway recording the acoustic guitar, electric bass, drums and the cello for all ten tracks. My set-up is pretty sparse; using an AKG condenser microphone through Ableton Live 10. It has been a challenge to produce with limitations but I think it reflects well in the record; a lo-fi recording but with some distinctly hi-fi elements combined.
Next week, we've got the vocal tracks, piano and ambient guitars. And that will be the tracking completed. I will be mixing the album the following week, ready to be mastered and sent out to the press for the beginning of October.
Looking forward to sharing some more with you next week and I will release of the tracks early exclusively Steemit.
