As a teenager he came to blows with a friend about a girl they both fancied, and the injury he sustained resulted in a rare eye affliction called "anisocoria."

David Jones was clearly destined to be a rock star. We know him as the late great David Bowie. It was his melodic gift that I particularly enjoyed, but he was also an actor, and quite witty in his own dry way. If you've never seen his segment on the series “Extras,” this is a real highlight.

He was clearly destined to be a rock star. You're right, not a serious actor, but in the clip above he simply played "David Bowie." It was natural and believable, so compared to other "rock stars" I think he was pretty good ;-)
