Music Tutorial # 2: One Minute Video on Music Staff

• To Read Music, you need to understand Music Staff.

• MUSIC STAFF is a set of 5 horizontal lines on which musical notes are written to indicate pitch and time.

• In Western musical notation, the staff, or stave is a set of 5 Horizontal lines & 4 spaces.

• Each line and each space represent a different musical pitch

• The higher the note is on the staff, the higher the pitch is being played.

• The lower the note is on the staff, the lower the pitch is being played.
