Frankie Broyles -- Capturer
Autumn is imminent, and with the change in seasons comes a change in the music I listen to. I'm planning on making up an Autumn playlist in a couple of weeks, but for now, here's one of the songs I always come back to.
I was first introduced to Frankie Broyles when he joined Deerhunter for their album "Monomania." After that album, he sadly left the band, but I was pleased to learn of Balkans, an earlier band of his. As of last year came back to my attention once again through his new band, Omni. Their debut album "Deluxe" was my favorite album of last year, and the follow-up comes out in just a couple of weeks from now, so I'm pretty excited to say the least. He released a solo EP, "Slow Return," earlier this year, and it pretty much convinced me that he can't put out a single bad song.
"Capturer" is off of an earlier single of his. Press play, lay back, close your eyes, and have a listen. For more Frankie Broyles/Omni, check out the links below.
