Steemians!

M U S I C !
Introducing Vibrations!
We want to hear which song inspired you today! In the comments section below, share that one song with a brief explanation of how it inspired you. We will feature the best comments on the next episode of Vibrations!
@playitfoward
Callum Scott - Dancing On My Own
To be honest its more deeply personal than this, but I think the feeling in this song is just really moving. The stillness and ability to be so "in focus" and personal is what makes this song make my hair rise.
@djlethalskillz
Clear Soul Forces - Get No Better
This is a great cross that maintains an old school vibe with a fresh dynamic between mcs. It's these kinds of beats that usually tend to achieve timelessness.
@daonlytruf
Leon Bridges - Bad Bad News
I feel the swing the rhythm, swingy vibes Jazzy soulful and how the song is about turning the negative into positive with a live band
@dreemsteem
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - If We Were Vampires
Music is very personal.
It can be an intimate thing. We all have those special songs that take us back to important memories, sweet relationships, or significant times in our lives.
Think back to the days of making a mixed tape for a friend. Yes, back to the old-timey days of cassettes! Maybe you liked some songs from the playlist - maybe a few weren't quite your style. But you enjoyed listening to it because it was a window into your friend's soul.
I recently had the opposite experience. A friend was actually taking the time to zero in on my style. They played snippets of tracks in such quick succession that I didn't think it was possible that they were actually able to narrow down my preference in that short span of time.
After twenty or so songs, it was announced, "I know your style!"
I laughed. I secretly doubted. The conversation continued.
A few hours later, after I had forgotten about the exercise in taste-selection, they played this song for me.
It didn't just connect with me because the lyrics were beautifully poetic - which they were. It didn't just impress me because the instruments were perfectly plucked - which they were. It didn't just resonate with me because the voices melded into one harmonious, soul-soothing blend - which they did. It connected with me primarily because my friend took the time to hear me. To try to understand me. To find music that would hit its intended target....and then proceeded to pick just the right song to appeal to my particular tastes.
Music is very personal. But once in a while, you get to share that individual experience with another appreciative soul, and that is a beautiful gift.
@scuzzy
Elise Trouw - Mashup of “Everlong” by Foo Fighters and “What You Won’t Do for Love” by Bobby Caldwell.
Beside that fact that this is a seamless mashup of classic records between two iconic entities, the adorable Elise Trouw showcases an alluring live performance as she hops from one instrument to another while utilizing a loop program.
I'm always inspired by young artists/musicians of this generation, particularly a multi-instrumentalists, who are able to produce/compose a relatively unique production. It gives me assurance that good music are still being made. And those complaining about how modern music is not as good as the "old days" are just simply lazy.
Again, in the comments section below, share one song that inspired you recently with a brief explanation of how it inspired you for a chance to be featured on the next episode of Vibrations!

This track, a cover of one of Elton John's lesser known tracks by Florence & The Machine , inspired me today. It's a rare example of a cover being better than the original. I hope it inspires the hundreds of people on here doing covers to make them their own and better than the original!
Phwoarrrrr.. that video you've shared by Elise Trouw has given me shivers all over mate. She created something fantastic there, what a mashup. I'll be watching out for more from her for sure, incredible musician.
Oh aye, to add... she ticks quite a few boxes! Absolutely stunning and a voice like that... future wife material.
I've shared this many times before but I've been back over it a couple of times today for some inspiration and motivation. Personal favorite.
The inspiration comes from the journey the song takes. There are varying textures and build-ups which create an amazing listening experience. Not to mention, his skill with the 12 string (11) is remarkable.
It's a one to come back to time and time again if you ever need some inspiration.
10:03 will get those goosebumps popping.
Keep up the good work mate! I'm loving this idea. So much inspiration and appreciation for quality music.
Definitely John's best piece and this is a fantastic rendition!
I remember doing a gig with him in 2006. I played my set just before his set, then he invited me onstage to play on one of his tunes. Epic times!
Wow..... Amazing choice @playitforward!!!!! I haven't heard any others yet... But that was fantastic. The video matched the music perfectly!!! You shared the one with me last night @scuzzy... It was great!! I also loved how it featured her talent as a real musician!!! @dayonlytruf.... Love it!!!!!! It's the perfect fusion of old school and new vibe!!!! @djlethalskillz it's not really my style hehee but I still loved the beat
I am a lover of music, for me composing and writing are wonderful things that we can create to reconcile, love, and manifest a number of emotions, even to hurt.
The song I take for this healing is one that has a lot of vibes, if you listen carefully you can notice the sound in unison of strings, notes in different octaves and beautiful chords, which makes it a composition to fall in love with. This piece resembles the emotions experienced by people in love, you go through calm moments like when you only look at that person who attracts you and then starts with something of emotion that little by little increases. This a song full of many feelings and those that really are good. It is a piece that makes you small heart and not sadness, if not to make you feel happiness and nostalgia to be with that person who fills you. I recommend everyone to listen to it again and again carefully, feel the strumming of the guitar and how the resonance feels in the whole piece that makes your soul vibrate.
I hope you enjoy it.
Without more @elarawatodigital
Andy McKee - Rylynn
I honestly have never found the right words to explain Burial. But he is one of my biggest inspirations. From his extremely complected writing methods to his sound decisions. It's better to listen to him with your heart rather than ears.
Oh also @djlethalskillz Clear Soul Forces - Get No Better is a CLASSIC!!!
Kudos mah man! Glad u recognize and dig this classic! Respect ;)

This is my favourite band their called 'Taraf de haidouks' they are a balkan gypysy band.
Their music is right up my street and i love everything they play as its so authentic.
The violin will have all your hairs on your arms standing on end!. Once the old guy in the hat has finished pulling the violin strings out, about ten minutes into the performance he starts singing and this will guarantee to send shivers down your spine.
Enjoy 😊
Maybe little be late. Here it is what are inspired me in the human trip called blockchain. This song explain when everything begin.
