BEST NEW MUSIC: Stimulator Jones - Give My All [quiet storm-ish R&B]

Stimulator Jones's upcoming debut on Stones Throw entitled, Exotic Worlds and Masterful Treasures is probably my most anticipated album of the year at the moment. His masterful mix up of boogie, rare groove, quiet storm, hip-hop, and old school R&B, all while having the voice similar to Howard Hewett of Shalamar-fame is just too perfect. And this newest track, "Give My All", you can tell he is really living up to the title of the track, playing and tracking all the instruments himself, he has crafted a loving send-up to all the previously mentioned genres and put his own spin on them that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The track features a smooth as butter bass line, some killer chimes, guitar, and vintage sounding drum machine, all set to Jones's distinct but familiar vocals. "Give My All" is just one more excellent track to what's sounding like what will probably become one of my favorite albums of the year.
