Criticism is a matter of pronunciation of Indonesian Abdul is considered less. According to Maia, Abdul needed to improve his articulation.

"His name is Indonesian Idol, so the mastery of Indonesian songs is important, articulation," said Maia in an interview session at Ecovention Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, North Jakarta, Tuesday (17/4/2018).

Although agree with Maia criticism, Bunga Citra Lestari said that Abdul's childhood that he did not miss in Indonesia became the reason for the finalist from Denpasar, Bali, that was not good in pronunciation of Indonesian language.

"Articulation alone is probably used to speaking English and I hear his little Abdul is also outside," said Bunga.

"Abdul lived in Australia when he was a kid, so learning his pronunciation is already mixed," he added.

In some spectacular shows, Abdul's performance when performing Indonesian songs often attracted criticism from the jury.

Menut jury, when Abdul sang the Indonesian language the result is not as good as his appearance when singing an English song.
