The Gospel of Climate change as a result of rapid Environmental degradation can equally be preached through music.

Naturally, it is no longer surprising about the eminent effects of climate change due to our reckless activities on this beautiful environment without bordering to strike a balance. The consequences of which are bound and including rising global temperatures, fluctuation in planting seasons causing droughts, affecting crop maturation cycles, floods, acid rain, health related problems etc.

As such music can be used to preach against the ills of continuous environmental degradation, as we all need to actively take part in restoring it or striking a balance on our natural environment.
However, great Legends in the music industry such as Micheal Jackson in his song titled ''Earth song'' which was released in 1995 and the genre was pop as well the other titled '' Heal the world''.

This is actually a soul searching piece as it is preaching about environmental degradation with its effects. Each time i listen or watch the music, and imagine what is currently happening, tears run down my chick as i can't help it. The planet earth is our only beloved home, we need to protect and conserve it jealously.

Environmental activists should work with musicians especially those having passion for nature, and this i believe will change the world. Micheal Jackson played a great role, as such i greatly admire him still.
