Dave Tipper is British dj and producer who specializes in a variety of electronic music genres, including ambient, trip hop and breakbeats. The new Tipper is so good. I've listened to it multiple times now and I'm feeling re-energized creatively. There's ideas and images swirling in my head that weren't there before. I love when that happens...

Social media is a pretty brutal place to find yourself sometimes. There are spotlights everywhere highlighting a cause for concern. There is a general dissatisfaction that permeates everything on there it seems. I've been seeing a decent amount of positive responses to his album release and, honestly, there's a little flame of envy in me for Dave Tipper. It's a pretty powerful thing to put your art out there and to positively affect so many people.

I guess it just reminds me how much impact good art can have. How contagious inspiration can be. And how it makes the good parts of life itself just a little more luminous.
