Nth Power

Nth Power, from the final show at The Hot Spot in Waynesboro, Virginia on Feb. 22, 2015. This Soul powerhouse from New Orleans was willing to stop in our small town and put on a killer performance even though we couldn't pay them what they usually ask for. Drummer Nikki Glaspie, who has played with Beyonce and various Neville Brothers leads the group, along with Nigel Hall on keys, who's played with Lettuce and Warren Haynes. Nate Edgar lays down the bass, while Nick Cassarino on guitar and Weedie Braimah on percussion round out the lineup. I know this is kind of a long one, but this whole show was really great, and it was a fitting end to the beautiful experiment that was the Hot Spot.
