Get ready for Musicoin hard fork IN DAYS
In case you hadn’t noticed (because you’ve been living on Mars), the Musicoin hard fork upgrade at BLOCK 2,222,222 will happen IN DAYS. Musicoin is currently at block 2,188,077 and at a rate of around 8,000 blocks per day should hit 2,222,222 within days. An exact time is not possible due to different amount of mining power being allocated to Musicoin at any particular time but we’re confident that it will happen within days.
What to expect following the hard fork?
FIRSTLY - Use of Musicoin across more Wallets — You should be able to use Musicoin across a greater number of wallets meaning that more investors will get involved in the Musicoin revolution.
SECONDLY - More stability and speed — Musicoin should run faster and be more stable. The ability to handle more transactions effortlessly will mean that rapid expansion is a certainty.
Musicoin as gone from strength to strength following a 166% increase in verified users in less than 3 months and continues to attract top artists from around the world. Recent successful upgrades have included: Universal Basic Income and a new Wallet. Expect great things from Musicoin in the months ahead.

I like the idea behind musicoin but the player platform needs upgrades for mass adoption. I find it hard to believe the top artist are actually getting as many listens as being shown. I suspect they just leave their computer playing their song on repeat. It’s hard to gain exposure and I find steemit/dsound to be significantly more helpful in building an income from my music m.
Did you try adding your Musicoin tracks to AtomCollectorRecords.com ? You will get real plays from other musicians and you can get as many as you want as there are a lot of us on there all the time.
Bear in mind that Musicoin is still in beta and won't be ready for mass adoption until at least the end of the year. It's a great start though! :-)

Have you got more information about the hard fork? My understanding is that it will take time for the nodes to be upgraded by the various people who run them so we shouldn't expect a sudden increase in speed? Is that right?

It is not an exact science...the hard fork will take effect immediately and there should be immediate after effects
