EARTHLING SOCIETY - Mo - The Demon (2018)

Earthling Society are the UK's leading Pagan psychedelic / Krautrock band.

This is an interesting one. An album I came across randomly on YouTube which immediately got my attention. I started looking into the band, and it seems like they've been around for quite some time now (since 2005) and have released nearly an album a year since then.

I would describe this album as being spacy AF for starters, in a good way. Experimental is another way I'd describe it because there are definitely some long passages that are more along the lines of ambient music, with obscure samples abound.

Fred Laird, one of the founders of the band, is credited with vocals on their Wikipedia page, but the album is largely instrumental. Perhaps that's not the case with the many albums preceding this one. They do pop up here and there, though. A pleasant surprise.

I'll be diving into some of their earlier albums to see how I feel about those as well. I'm pretty glad to have discovered this band today.
