South African Music Share - Sweet, sweet sounds of Ladysmith Black Mambazo ~ Homeless

in music •  11 months ago

This morning this amazing South African group who hail from a neighbouring town was on our local radio station. Ladysmith Black Mambazo  is a choral group who were made famous worldwide by their collaboration with Paul Simon on his 1986 Graceland album.

I simply had to share their calming sound and hope it has the same effect on you as it has on me!

WOW, these I didn't hear for a long time, but Graceland with Paul Simon immediately popped back into my memories. Such a beautiful piece of art/music.

Thank you very much! Amazing grown men can sing very gently!!
They would probably be tribal warrior in the old days, but they are very musical. Their bodies are very fluid, the final note ended with a very high but soft jump! Their energy is like an elastic band!

Would love to hear more of the same!
Cheers.

They have made so much music, so google them and you will find much more. The town they originate from is 100km from mine.
