For the artists themselves, this album represents a departure from their earlier work, with the band, 'i.e.', more matured use of sound texture, less use of jazz/rock guitar and keyboard solo arrangements. While the artists from i.e. are largely the same here, they all took pseudonyms as a means of indicating that the music was heading into new directions.

Thank you! Talking 'gnarly', I've been holding back on releasing some really industrial stuff ... but yeah, rock, jazz, ambient, up/downtempo ... an always expanding horizon!
I feel all good and fuzzy inside.
The ambience is definitely summer night sounds ... so if you're in the northern hemisphere 'warm and fuzzy', without a single mosquito !!!
