Nice music.what we see wrong sometime..

I really like this piece of Bach. What is your connection with Bach and in more particular this piece?

When I was a middle and high-school student, I went to a Christian school. Bach's organ music was a familiar existence for me, and my father had records of the Well-Tempered Clavier by Richter long ago. Recently there was something that hurt my feelings, so this piece soothes my souls.

Thanks for sharing more about your connection with Bach. I don't know the classical genre too well, but for some reason I like Bach. Maybe because it is the mood I'm attracted to. The well known Matthäus Passion, I've heard in interesting ways, performed by electronic music artists creating their remixes and interpretations of that piece. Love it when genres are brought together like that.

You're welcome! Neither do I. Classical music fans in Japan often mention depth of the human spirit when they talk about Bach. Matthäus Passion, I know, that's interesting. I'm also interested in works, which combine several different genres like Sting sang "La ci darem la mano" from Mozart's opera with a Romanian soprano singer Angela Gheorghiu. I'm going to go off subject, but one of my Facebook friends loves Ronnie James Dio and Black Sabbath, and I've listened to their War Pigs. I think it's an excellent song. Thank you for sharing the interesting story.

Bach: makes sense what the Japanese say, it must be for a reason why Bach dedicated time and effort to create music with a biblical reference.

I'll check the one you mentioned for sure. I think I know the Sting one.

Here is one I really like: Jeff Mills, one of the founding father of the Techno sound in electronic dance music... post here.

I also like those pieces of music Pavarotti did, with I believe the Passengers, or they called themselves like that, the benefit recording for the children of ex-Yugaslavia after their wars in the 90s.

Sorry for my late reply. Indeed. Bach's music has been greatly influenced by words in the Bible.

I watched the music video by Jeff Mills and understood what you said. I don't like commercialism, so his music suits my taste.

I didn't know Pavarotti did it, he did a very good job.

Super, you liked Jeff Mills with the orchestra; Jeff is far from commercial; That is for sure :) I don't like commercial music anyways :)

I saw a Wikipedia page about Jeff Mills. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Mills
I became more and more interested in his music and view of the world.
