Floyd really has aged well. I mean I hear it all the time still and it still sounds great. I mean whats not to like, they got it all vocals. playing, creativity. BTW as a guitarist, I always thought Gilmour's playing is vastly overlooked. While not "showy", it is tasteful and hence I think that is why it still sounds good, coz it really is good.
I don't listen to them often now, a case of overplayed songs. The Alternative Weekend is pretty much done as I am out of bands. Didn't know you played.
Oh that was 30 years ago lol. I still have half a dozen guitars tho. Now I find it is easier and more fun to compose on the computer! I am just getting into and having a blast. I can have a guitar or piano or any other instrument!
