THE UNITY OF HUMAN AND GOD - RELUNG
Relung - Manungsa (Live on Egalite):
Hello my friends,
As an ex-radio announcer, I want to give a good vibration of music. I used to be an amateur music around the last years. Because of my exams, I stopped my activities from music. And I decided to become a good listener. Now I will show you about Music Hits. They are my closed friends. Called Relung Music.
Why Relung Music? Because of the musical component is harmonious so it can be a healing music
Relung could mean as deepnees (“deep”nees) where the “deep”ness here could be interpreted to voices in chamber of the deepest heart. “Yes, many kind of voices harmonized as called music”. Interpretation in the form of voices within chamber of the deepest heart successfully realized into a mini album labeled “Labuh”. Labuh means offerings.
Based on that philosophy, my lovely friends Ridho (drum), Gilang (guitar), Andy (guitar), Darma (bass), and Tabitha (vocal) packed interpretation and argumentation into something different.
Exploring voices, harmonizing note, unify their perception even having a cup of tea together are needed to to realize all the things. In music, they want everything looked personnel and provide deep understanding to the listener.
The personality and deep understanding can be seen from Relung lyric which majority is using Javanese language. In addition, some Relung song's inspiration came from Javanese Poem. One of it is the song “Manungsa” which is adopted from “Serat Dewa Ruci” (God Ruci Poem).
“Manungsa” is Javanesse language that means human. “Serat Dewa Ruci” is well known as a masterpiece which tells a story about human inner journey to find his own self. In Javanese Traditional Puppet story, Dewa Ruci act is an important role of act because it contains human base elements. Human base elements could be found in the song “Manungsa” :
"Mungguh pamoring kawula lan gusti iku, kaya dene paesan karo sing ngilo.
Wayangan kang ana sajroning pangilon, iya iku jenenge kawula."
Those lyrics means the unity of human and God is like facing the mirror. The reflection in the mirror, yes, it is human himself. Relung wants to invite the listener go for cure missing Greatness of Javanese Culture which is tender, slow, and continuous.
Giving a chance to contemplate every word which is told, to live every voice which is sung. Hoping Indonesian youth keep on growing to dig and conserve traditional conserve by using untraditional way.
