RE: Alternative Weekend: Focus on ‘Genesis’ - The Collins Years Part One
It's funny - And Then There Were Three was the album that really made me sit up and take notice of Genesis. I'm not as keen on the Duke track, though I don't dislike it - it might grow on me. I love Mad Man Moon and Blood on the Rooftops - "exquisite" perfectly describes that guitar intro.
'And Then There Were Three' is a great album compared to most others, I meant in the context of compared to those other three. I played it to death just like all the others and had the vinyl... once. They were all sold years back.
One day I will get the Genesis back catalogue and play it all on a long car journey. Been meaning to do that for years!
