Music-Kongos-new documentary series and album

There is excitement in the air...price of Crypto's are rising and I see that one of my favourite bands will be releasing releasing new material in April 2018.
For those who are not familiar with the sound of Kongos,I will endevour to introduce you to a few of my favourite tracks.
Kongos is an alternative rock band from South Africa.They spent most of their youth living in South Africa and in London and moved to Arizona USA in the nineties.
The band comprises four brothers (Dylan,Daniel,Jesse and Johnny)all being the son of recording artist John Kongos who had some international success in the seventies.
His single 'He's Gonna Step on You Again' is cited in the Guiness Book of Records as being the first song to ever use a sample.The 90's band Happy Mondays based their hit 'Step On', on this song.
The band formed in 2007 and mention that some of their musical influences include Paul Simon,Bob Marley and Queens of a Stone Age.It was only in 2012 on the release of their 2nd album 'Lunatic' that they started to receive recognition in in South Africa.The album was only released in United States in October 2013 and in 2014 both singles ('Come with me now' and 'I'm only joking'gained considerable exposure.'Come with me now' was chosen as the theme song for WWE's Extreme Rules and it was also used in the movie 'The Expendables'.

'Come with me now'-This is where it all started for them. An irresistible groove and the accordion riff makes this one a classic.

'Take it from me'-Taken from Egomaniac....this is the opening track and no better way to start an album.

'if you could'-The last track on Egomania...The South African roots are clear on this track.l love the way the song comes together and the harmonies are beautiful.

Next month sees the release of their documentary 'Bus Call' which covers live footage of the band on Tour.There are 10 episodes of 20-30 minutes giving fans experiences of what it is like to be a travelling band.
The new album has been recorded in a different studio and is said to have a different sound (in a good way according to the band).
This is a release which is eagerly awaited.
