Come la musica ha cambiato la mia vita!! (How music has changed my life !!)

Mi è sempre capitato di pensare che dal primo momento in cui ho conosciuto la bellezza della musica che la mia vita sia radicalmente cambiata...
Ho cominciato più o meno un 10ina di anni fa , ricordo che ero un folle e che per conquistare tutte le ragazzine all'epoca ero solito creare delle compilation musicali.
Inutile dire che dentro c'era di tutto , dall'House alla commercialata , dalla traccia più strana, a quella che ti viene da alzare le mani solo a sentire l'inizio!!
Sapete quante ne conquistai con questo metodo? Esattamente 0...
Il metodo non era maluccio, erano i 20/30 kg in più che mi rendevano poco appetibile , però a parte tutto non mi potevo lamentare.
Stavo scoprendo qualcosa che mi apparteneva , che sentivo che stava prendendo parte della mia vita...
Nel 2010 se non erro arrivò l'occasione di esibirmi a scuola , all'epoca avevo appena scoperto il Reggae e la Dancehall, me ne innamorai senza fare domande e incominciai a suonarmi i vari Shaggy , Sean Paul ,Buju Banton e Capleton .
Creammo una sorta di nome per questa specie di Sound e lo chiamammo Apulia Unite SoundSystem , durò veramente pochissimo , cosi come la seconda crew che montammo su , dal nome South Family.

We created a kind of name for this kind of Sound and we called Apulia Unite SoundSystem, lasting very little, just like the second crew we picked up, from the name of South Family.

Ebbi la possibilità di suonare a scuola durante una festa e riuscimmo veramente a far divertire i ragazzi che sentivano per la prima volta questo genere.
Da li è stato amore assoluto , suonavamo in un bar ogni settimana e ormai amici e altra gente, si dava appuntamento per venire a sentire la musica che suonavamo e per fare freestyle ed esibirsi.
Pian piano incominciarono i primi problemucci e decidemmo di incominciare a suonare nelle discoteche Tarantine .
Iniziammo esattamente a carnevale , suonammo prima al caffè del mare , successivamente allo Yatching Club , fù un successo , tant'è che riuscimmo a far ballare una discoteca con le greatest hits di Bob Marley.

I had the opportunity to play at school during a party, and we were really able to entertain the guys that heard this kind of thing for the first time.
It was absolute love, we played in a bar every week and now friends and other people, made an appointment to come and hear the music we played and to do freestyle and perform.
Soon the first problems began and we decided to start playing at the Tarantine discos.
We started exactly at the carnival, we first played at the cafe of the sea, after the Yatching Club, it was a success, so much so that we managed to dance a disco with Bob Marley's greatest hits.

Restammo un anno a suonare fra questi locali , poi decidemmo di sciogliere il gruppo , io provai ad esibirmi da singolo in altre discoteche con altre organizzazioni e più o meno tutte diedero un risultato deludente.
Ho suonato in tantissimi posti a Taranto però , l'ambiente musicale/sociale delle discoteche sinceramente non mi è mai andato a genio.
Ho avuto l'opportunità e la fortuna di conoscere artisti come Mama Marjas e Don Ciccio che mi hanno ospitato , e mi hanno consacrato su i grandi palchi , facendomi suonare in concerti e grandi eventi e in serate ormai sono importanti nella scena Tarantina come l'African Party.

Incominciare a lavorare con questi artisti è emozionante , si impara veramente tanto e soprattutto, se si impara a restare umili la gente non potrà mai scordarsi di te.
Associare la bravura all'umiltà è sempre una combinazione vincente , lascia un ricordo positivo sveglio nel cervello della gente e fa si che loro apprezzino tantissimo il compito svolto dal suddetto artista.
Ultimamente mi sono ritrovato a suonare anche fuori dalla mia città ricevendo tantissimi complimenti , mi sono molto spesso misurato con altri dj altrettanto bravi che meritano di emergere nello showbusiness italiano.
La musica mi ha reso un uomo migliore , mi ha donato tantissime emozioni indescrivibili , paure , felicità , vittorie, sconfitte personali...
Ma se potessi tornare indietro farei esattamente tutto quello che ho fatto fin'ora , persino spaccarsi il culo per non ricevere nulla (ed è capitato santuariamente).
Se ci ripenso mi è servito a crescere , a capire che quello che faccio ha un valore definito e oltre ad esserci passione , c'è impegno e dedizione che come per ogni artista deve essere ben retribuita.
Un'artista regala emozioni, e le emozioni sono qualcosa che non hanno valore, perciò sono fermamente convinto che il lavoro di un artista deve essere ben retribuito poichè dietro ad ogni forma d'arte c'è una ricerca dell'emozione che è assolutamente maniacale e degna di essere premiata.
L'arte è il cibo per la mente , e grazie ad essa noi tutti riusciamo a cibare il nostro intelletto!!

Questo è un video di 2 anni fà , le mie tecniche erano buone ma ancora poco sviluppate , però questo dj set mi colpi davvero tanto poichè mi ritrovai a suonare sotto la pioggia al freddo e al gelo , per circa 2/3 ore...
La musica è bella per questo, è capace di farti divertire anche se sei inzuppato e infreddolito...
