Chaka Khan is now 65 years old and one of these soul legends of the world that also produced great songs to dance in clubs. So here comes a glamorous lady for Disco Tuesday with dancefloor killers from 1978 and 1984.
Chaka was born as Yvette Marie Stevens and was successful for a period spanning five decades, that started in the 1970s as singer of Rufus - a funk project. Hence she is famous as the "Queen of Funk". She won 10 Grammy awards and sold over 70 million records globally.
I have adored Chaka Khan since the early 80's. What a talent and what a killer voice.
