Us Against The Trends

This is a little throwback tune for me, and thought it would be an appropriate mid week jam.

I've been listening to these guys for many a year now, I think it has actually been since they started, probably their third or fourth show. We have become great friends over the last fifteen years and we have shared the stage on countless occasions. Jay Bones, the lead singer and guitarist, is in my opinion one of the best writers in the South African music scene, and has side project called Rambling Bones, which is more of a folk rock vibe.

I love the video they put together for this track, it's a great representation of a night out at a Fuzigish punk rock show.
