WITHOUT MUSIC, LIFE WOULD BE A MISTAKE
Did a wise man not say that “without music, life would be a mistake “?. Imagine a world where you can only hear the dialects of other tribes in speeches. Some languages may sound bizarre and strange when spoken but are sweet melodies to the ears when put into music. Imagine a world where the only means of expressing your emotions is through speaking. What would we do during prayers and other sacred rites?, when your soul is so burdened such that you can't speak but can only hum or sing. Imagine if it was impossible to make melodies, imagine a society where our artistes have no voice; a society where music is buried or a really stressful week without music to calm your nerves. Imagine a patient of depression with no music to act as an antidepressant. Life would have been a mistake without music.
We are united by a lot of factors. Culture, religion, profession and language are some of those factors. Music is the only one art that unites people of diverse ethnic groups, profession, race, tribe, religion or language. Good music doesn't have to be composed in your language before you can appreciate it. It is through music that the patches and pieces of a broken heart are merged together. Music can heal a sick soul. Through music you can easily express feelings that are confined in your heart and soul. Without music, humans would be trapped in a web of unnecessary secrecy and silent struggle.
Through songs, appraisals and incantations are made. What would the traditional medicine practitioners do without music?, imagine what their incantations would be like. To make actions clearer and more emotional, music is brought into movies. Have you ever watched a movie with no music?.
In the past centuries, people appreciated music and it is one of the arts that have been passed down from generations through both oral tradition and notation. Heroes of the past are honoured everytime we sing. Life is full of fun and enthusiasm when you realise the one key to peace and calm. Life is easy and fun with music.
