IBIZA: Finding The Hidden Gems In The Mix.
The stunning Anna
Me and my brother are huge fans of Ibiza, and a few years ago when we were over there we saw a new Brazilian star called Anna who was a relatively new face on the island scene, but this season I've just learned that you can catch her playing for Resistance inside the spectacular 10,000 seat hangar at Privilege, as well as at Paradise Insignia.
The spiritual island
Most people only know Ibiza as a party mad island, but besides the Cafe Del Mar scene that me and my brother love, Ibiza is also home to a lot of spiritual retreats as well.
I'm going to one in October with Soul Adventures [their 7 night retreats start from £1200/$1500 per person - http://souladventures.co.uk/ ]
They have courses running throughout the year, and I will spend a week re-energising from steeming on with lots of kundalini yoga and hot stone massages. You stay in the mountains with a teacher for a week who does everything for you: from cooking and cleaning to the reiki / yoga and meditation classes for you. The first class service they provide is well documented on TripAdvisor.
Finally, whenever I'm in Ibiza I always try to get up to the North of the island where it's a lot more peaceful and more local. I like to visit the small beaches like Cala Xarraca and Cala d'en Serra. Both of these are beautiful beaches to visit early in the morning to watch the sun rise.
Later in the day I'd recommend lunch in San Lorenzo before beating a path to DC10 for a night you won't forget. One heavenly island indeed.
Stay chilled :)
It is one of the most beautiful places I have had the privilege of seeing. STEEM FEST would be crazy if we did it out there.
Shalom Johal. Wanna go up another spiritual notch from Ibiza? Its got to be the Holy Land and Israel and the Wailing Wall ... the one both your president and the hunter touched this week ;) Steem on my friend! Peace from a very troubled land :)<3
Ibiza is soo much more than the electronic dance parties that are held there every night. Daytime is not allowed anymore. It has beautiful sceneries, rough mountains (or hills maybe), secluded places, great number of fantastic restaurants for quality lunches and dinners, nice beaches (even those that are not full of people) and for those who like a party as well, that is also available. It is a very spiritual island as well.
Put it this way @edje - I've never seen a more spiritual island anywhere! ... and I've seen a lot of islands! :D
Agree to that!
Precious island, a paradise
