wow, what a pathetic melodious story, am also an instrumentalist, I play the bass guitars, its quite fun playing the strings instruments and I get lots of fun and fulfilment playing them, but as an instrumentalist,it's not advisable you stop learning for long, else you loose the passion and loose the vision and interest.

so do well to go back to your guitar again so as not to miss lots of fun.
