How to Make Extra Money at Gigs

Hey everybody!
I thought I would share an easy way to earn more at your performances.

First, get a mobile wallet of your choosing set up...

...and click recieve

A QR code will be generated, which can be used in lots of ways.

  • Printed out and placed by tip jar (audience can tip without walking to the stage)
  • Printed out and placed in your case for busking
  • Placed on business cards
  • Placed on other social media for tips

    Note:
YES you need a tip jar if you're playing at a bar or coffee house (except for open mic). If your goal is to be a Self Employed Musician, you will, at some point need to stop playing for free. 😊 Just Sayin...

To sell products like t shirts, vinyl etc at gigs, you can have a code with a specific price generated.
This is a great idea-it will help speed up sales and reduce your need to carry change.
Check out this Bitcoin Code Generator (http://www.cooar.codes)

I recently did this on my instagram to sell one of my guitar books, and will begin doing this a lot more.

As the general public gets used to using crypto, you all will be "ahead of the game" as we say in the US. Hope this helps!! 😊✌🏾

Mel steemit for musicians really good info you should talk more about steemit for musicians Great Tip.Very well presented.

Thanks so much!! Will do! ✌🏾

This is a good idea, A way to easily tip musicians just by scanning a code makes it safer for the musician to collect money but is also a lot easier to do than give real money. However I think there is a downside, because not everyone has a bitcoin or a bitcoin wallet so you could be narrowing down the people that give you money.

Yes, until people catch up, I'm using both.

I'm going to use my bitcoin QR code, and a regular tip jar at my gigs.

in the next 24 moths steemit is going mainstream more people will have it

Very innovative. We can't leave it up to the music industry to dictate how musicians earn money. Their still trying to figure this new economy out themselves

Tru-that. 👍🏾

Great idea! Will do that with my music project.
Thank you!

You're welcome!! Be sure to let me know how it goes. ✌🏾

awesome! You should check out the Muse blockchain. It is very much like steem and will be focused on musicians

Thanks!!! Gonna do that now. 👍🏾😊
