If it makes you happy and you can afford to spend time and money on it, that's great. If you can make people happy with the fruits of your labor - even better.
Indeed. Although I don't know if it actually makes me happy. It's hard work and in many ways like going into battle. Saying that, it makes me unhappy (or at least slightly unsatisfied) if I'm not working on a guitar. Making other stuff (toys, furniture, etc..) just isn't the same. I can't really afford to spend time and money doing it, but it's too late... I can’t stop now.
