Guitar and Drums Jam Session Part 2

When you play in a band that is primarily focused on composition and consistency, you will almost inevitably transcend your individual influences. This is certainly a fine thing but it can sometimes leave you wishing for the ability to express your own personal influences more strongly for lack of an outlet to do so. Jamming on my guitar with my cousin on drums, without any limits to what was expressed, allowed me to convey my eclectic influences in a more pronounced way. It was like opening Pandora’s Box. It was liberating.
