in #music6 years ago

Hi, guys, steemit. Today I come to tell you the true and complete story about the incredible song of QUEEN: BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, one of the great anthems of rock, which deals with the pact that Freddy Mercury made with the devil.

WE START

The term "RHAPSODY" is a type of musical piece of the 19th century and is composed of several themes in succession without any kind of pause.

and the parable "BOHEMIAN" refers to the city of Bohemia, now Czech Republic city where Dr. Faust in the story of Goethe makes a pact with the devil in order to gain fame as an alchemist and then die tragically

The "Rhapsody Bohemia" to be a musical work composed of 7 acts similar to an opera was the masterpiece of Queen, and was composed by Freddy Mercury, it was included in the album "a night at the opera" in 1975

This great work is divided into 7 acts the first is a capella, the second and third are a ballad, the fourth is a guitar solo, the fifth is an opera, the sixth is rock and the seventh is a coda

First act (a cappella): ~ the protagonist is a poor boy who decides to make a pact with the devil since his life is worth nothing

The phrase "Wind blows" "the wind blows" refers to the breath of life given by God to each one of us, in a few words the soul. In the movie The fifth element you can hear this phrase. Film that I really recommend;)

Second act (Ballad): In this act the mother is confessed to the pact, and says that despite being very young, I choose to ruin everything with that pact

Terer act (Balada): his death, it's time to die, he says goodbye to his friends or nearby people, while he cries he tells his mother that he does not want to die, and says that he would never have been born to never have made that pact

Fourth act (Guitar solo): is the mother's cry, represented by Brian May making his guitar cry with intensity

Fifth act (Opera): represents the battle between the angels and the demons for their soul, the demons according to the Bible in Luke 10:18 are assimilated to the rays that fall from the sky, that's why you can see thunder in this part of the work. Followed by this, his mother begins to pray for him and beg for him not to be taken by the demons, This is how the angels come to fight for his soul shouting "Bishmilah" which means "In the name of God" and the demons respond saying that they would not let it go. For this the boy decides to ask his mother to stop praying for him because "Beelzebub" put a demon at his side to take him.

Sixth act (Rock): the devil claims his soul accusing him and telling him that he can not take it for a game or "resort to him and then abandon him". But since he sees that his demons are at a disadvantage, he decides to retire.

Seventh act (Coda): It is the announcement that the whole song is a confession or narration of its history and also adds "I do not care if people see it or know it and recover their soul"

)

After this little verse as a background the sound of a Gong is added, which according to the Chinese culture is an instrument used to heal people and ward off evil spirits.

Could this be an incredible confession by Freddy Mercury about a pact with the devil? What do you think ;)

Until next: D

Sort:

ok, but who cares? It is just a song. Like The Rolling Stones' 'Sympathy for devil'. It was funny to read such nonsense :D
