My nich character of the day: Robert Crumb

I love discovering new nich characters, such as songwriters, artists, designer, painters, pianists and so on. I love how life (and http protocol actually) get you in touch with someone that might be so inspiring to you, feels like someone is leaving breadcrumbs on your interests in order to bring you to the next inspiring person on the path of your life. 

This might sounds funny but this remember me a bit the suggested/related item sections of Youtube, Spotify or Amazon, where, trough an algorithm (and some clusterization techniques) for each users a new song or item is suggested because it may be related on what your profile tells about you. Few months ago for example i stepped on a suggested video of Youtube and i found out a real lovely song that was 1:1 matching my mood of the day (here for who's wondering:

).

But one of the best feeling in the world is when you met someone (usually a stranger on social) who suggests to the community a link about a youtube song that he liked so much, and this is how you have to consider this post!

Give a try to one of the most interesting person ever walked on this planet .... Robert Crumb ! 

He is a musician, songwriter, cartoonist, illustrator and a brilliant humourist, he is pretty well known for some of his cover albums and for some of his illustrations and cartoons. He has a very personal style in drawing, a merge of black  humoured, gothic and retro hand-drawing that makes him unique.

But he is also a very interesting musician, he spans over several categories of music as  blues, country, bluegrass, cajun, jazz and swing music. He was the leader of a nice band called  R.Crumb & his cheap suit serenaders that is the main point of this post
