How to play Fields of Gold by Sting on guitar
I teach a weekly guitar class to a group of 50-60-year-old students, and songs are mostly classic rock, blues, and country. When putting together songs for them to play, I go to the internet to look for lyrics and chords that others have posted and most often find many inaccuracies. I revise as needed and now have about 1000 songs in my files and am happy to share them. I have a pretty good ear and think my 'charts' are accurate, but I welcome suggestions and corrections.
Disclaimer - these are not proper music charts but rather simple chord/lyrics with the chord written over the word where they change along with the number of strums or beats for that chord.
Here is one of the songs we'll play this week. It's Fields of Gold by Sting. He played it in B but we'll capo at 2nd fret and play it in A.
