LOVE STORY Where do I begin…

A GOLDEN oldie and one of the best songs ever written.

Published in 1970 with music by Francis Lai and lyrics done by Carl Sigman. The lyrics were rewritten after Paramount Pictures’ executive Robert Evans thought the lyric was a downer and too sexually suggestive.
Initially Evans refused but after cooling off and pacing in his living room, said to his wife, “Where do I begin?” and the new lyrics were launched.
In 1970, originally an instrumental when introduced in a film called Love Story. A few weeks later the record with the lyrics were released and made its debut on Billboard’s Easy Listening Chart in the magazine issue dated 19 December 1970. Where do I begin> - Love Story.
