What has been one of the most searched item of the lost media genre for years now was discovered just recently, and while it isn't rare for the original poster of the media to go missing after a time, we now can have a pretty a good idea why the man looking for this song went missing just as the search was gaining momentum and a massive popularity. The song was actually made for a porn!

No wonder the author of the post was so evasive when asked about where he heard it! Even more fittingly, the band, which was interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine after the official announcement of the discovery, revealed the name of the song: 'Ulterior Motives'.

In case you're wondering, we're talking about a pretty catchy song with Japanese City Pop vibes. I encourage everyone to have a listen at the original tape first and then the covers that were made subsequently. Since the finding, the original tape was released as well, although beware that the voices won't just be your regular lyrics and the percussions only regular drums.

When asked about how they felt knowing a song they made decades ago had sparked a frantic search for years, the band declared:

You recorded this 40 years ago — what was it like to listen to it again?

Philip: The first thing was said was, “What are we going to do? They want a new version, a clean version, a remastered version … ”
Christopher: It actually put tears in our eyes. It was so beautiful. Music is a very touching thing. I’ve always been a musician, I still do music for films, and music is my life.
